What is a CPS test?
A CPS (clicks per second) test measures how fast you can click your mouse in a set time window. Your score is total clicks divided by seconds. The average is around 6–7 CPS; 10+ is fast, and with techniques like jitter or butterfly clicking some players exceed 14 CPS.
Clicking techniques
- Regular clicking: ~6–8 CPS, sustainable and accurate.
- Jitter clicking: tensing the arm to vibrate the finger, ~10–14 CPS.
- Butterfly clicking: alternating two fingers on one button, 15+ CPS bursts.
- Drag clicking: dragging the finger across the button for many registered clicks.
- Kohi click test: the 10-second standard used by the Minecraft Kohi PvP server.
How to click faster
- Use a light, low-actuation mouse and relax your hand.
- Rest your wrist and click from the finger, not the whole arm.
- Warm up first, and practice short 5-second bursts.
FAQ
What is a good CPS score?
6–7 CPS is average, 8–10 is good, and 10+ is fast. Pros using jitter/butterfly techniques can hit 14+.

Are scores saved?
Your best CPS per duration is stored locally in your browser. No account, nothing uploaded.
Does clicking faster help in games?
In Minecraft PvP and clicker games, higher CPS can help — but accuracy and consistency matter more than raw speed.
