What is jitter clicking?
Jitter clicking is a technique where you tense the muscles in your forearm and wrist so your hand vibrates rapidly, sending many fast clicks to a single mouse button. Skilled jitter clickers reach 10–14 CPS, well above the 6–7 CPS of normal clicking.
How to jitter click
- Grip the mouse firmly and rest your palm.
- Tense your forearm so the hand begins to shake.
- Hover your finger lightly over the button and let the vibration do the clicking.
- Practice short 5-second bursts — jitter clicking tires the arm fast.
Is jitter clicking bad for you?
Done too much, jitter clicking can strain the wrist and forearm. Warm up, take breaks, and stop if you feel pain. For longer sessions, butterfly clicking is gentler.
FAQ
What's a good jitter CPS?
10+ CPS is solid jitter clicking; top players sustain 12–14 CPS.
Will jitter clicking get me banned?
On most servers it's allowed because it's a human technique, not an autoclicker — but always check your server's rules.
