What is the 1-second CPS test?
A 1-second CPS test measures your peak burst speed — the absolute fastest single second of clicking you can produce. Because it is so short, scores are higher and noisier than longer tests.
What is a good score?
8–12 CPS is solid in 1 second; jitter and butterfly clickers can spike to 14–20. The site-wide average across all durations is about 6.5 CPS.
How to click faster
- Use a light mouse and relax your hand.
- Click from the finger, keep the wrist still.
- Warm up, then try a jitter or butterfly technique to push past 10 CPS.
Other durations
Try the 2s, 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s, 60s, 100s tests, or the main CPS test.
FAQ
Why test for 1 seconds?
It isolates burst speed. Different durations measure different skills.
Is my score saved?
Yes — your best 1s CPS is stored locally in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
Does a faster CPS help in games?
In Minecraft PvP and clicker games it can help, but accuracy and consistency matter more than raw speed.
