What is jitter clicking?
Jitter clicking is a technique where you tense the muscles in your forearm and wrist to create a fast vibration in your finger, firing the mouse button 10–14 times per second — far above normal clicking.
How to jitter click
- Grip the mouse firmly but don't squeeze.
- Tense your forearm so your hand starts to shake.
- Channel that shake into your index finger over the button.
- Keep bursts to a few seconds — it's tiring.
Risks and safety
Jitter clicking strains tendons and can contribute to RSI if overdone. Warm up, keep sessions short, and stop immediately if you feel pain.
