What is drag clicking?
Drag clicking uses friction: you drag your fingertip across the mouse button so the surface roughness vibrates the switch, registering a burst of clicks — often 20+ CPS, sometimes far more.
What you need
- A mouse with a grippy or textured button (or added grip tape).
- Dry, slightly grippy fingertips.
- A switch that can register the rapid presses.
How to drag click
- Tilt your finger so the pad and nail edge contact the button.
- Drag downward/across with light, even pressure.
- Adjust angle and force until clicks register in a burst.
Risks
Drag clicking wears out switches fast and can produce wildly inconsistent CPS. Many anti-cheats flag it. Treat the huge numbers as a party trick, not reliable in-game speed.

FAQ
How many CPS can you get drag clicking?
Often 20–40+ CPS in a burst, but it's very inconsistent.
Why won't my mouse drag click?
Smooth, coated buttons don't grip. Drag clickers use textured mice or add tape.
Does drag clicking damage your mouse?
It accelerates switch wear and can shorten the mouse's life.
